About Jen

Jen has a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Albion College (Michigan) and a master’s in library science from the University of Kentucky. Her career prior to writing was in public libraries and editorial, sales, and marketing for reference and journal publishers. She’s authored peer-reviewed articles on libraries, education, and health. She’s a member of the Chicago-North Romance Writers.

Jen is a chronically disabled (ME/CFS and chronic migraine) writer interested in sharing her experiences via her characters.

Jen has lived in Chicago (IL), Lexington (KY), and Sedona (AZ), plus a semester abroad in Segovia, Spain. Though she loves experiencing new places, cultures, and people, she always returns to her original home, suburban Detroit (MI), where she now lives with her partner, Nate, and rescue dog, Clara.
